ustr?ga

Ustr?ga is a project started in 2005 with Paolo Guiducci. Mainly, I play the turntable and Paolo plays guitars. The first work is called "rubbil" and it contains free improvisations performed May through July 2005.

A work concerning art, logic, semiotics, computer science and philosophy of language. Composed during 1998. Limited edition tapes available upon request.

The Killing Moon

The Killing Moon is the first band I co-founded. It existed approximately since 1994 until 2000. This was the main line-up:

• Debora Stenta: vocals, guitar
• Fabio Strada: guitar, accordion, vocals
• Ettore Pasquini: keyboards, sequencer, programming
• Marco Antonelli: bass
• Mirco Foschi: drums

The years spent playing with the Killing Moon were special. It opened my mind to a lot of things. It was wonderful to talk, play, create, drive, reharse, have gigs, record and share feelings with the band. We appeared in some compilations and recorded 3 demos:

The Killing Moon

First tape recording. Influenced by early 80s british new wave.

Slow fog

Second tape, 8 songs, on some of the tapes we added an additional song ("In a corner of this world"). Some songs were acoustic and featured Fabio's accordion. Recorded during 1996.

Is dead (?)

The "legendary" last EP of the Killing Moon, recorded the 7th of February, 2000. It is the one we are most proud of, and the one that better reflects who we were. Maybe.
