Brief Considerations About Language
Abstract
This is a work about
the incompleteness of language and the interactions between arts and science,
drama and logic, synthesis and analysis. These reflections about language
are composed of a musical excerpt and a text. In a speach, rational thinking
and emotions often are on the same level of importance: in particular I
think that reason can be an important source of emotions.

Version history
Version 1.21
November, 1999. First page of the booklet modified again.
Version 1.2
November, 1999. Paola Barillari gave me some help in the hard work of translation: she corrected the English translation of "First Try", "2.021", "Interactions". Thank you Paola. Many changes were made on the booklet: the first page was modified; a references section and a very apt Locke's quotation were added. A new way of printing has been found: now the booklet can be obtained through the ink-jet printer of my computer system. This is far better than lame photocopies; and moreover this way I finally gained the complete indipendence from the outside world: everything is conceived, produced and generated at home (ok, everything but the translations.... but it was just a matter of correction :-P). Now everything is stored in digital format. A great issue concerning the recording of "2.021" (from h.d. to tape) has been resolved (to some extent): in past times this problem obliged me to record "2.021" at a very low level, therefore even the other songs of the same side were conditioned by this oddity.
Version 1.1
July, 1999. The music-part of "2.021" has been totally re-programmed. Other minor changes and corrections in "Interaction" (text part). First print of the booklet. All music has been dumped on hard disk and recorded as .wav files, with no additional edit.
Version 1.0
October, 1998. BCAL musical excerpts and texts have been completed: system is stable and functioning. All rock recorded with analog devices. The texts are still handwritten.
