Dave Winer’s Downtown Oakland photos, snobbish mischaracterization
Just came across Dave Winer’s “Downtown Oakland” set: such a mischaracterization. Dull photos, grey day, carefully not showing any life forms… like Chinatown is ever deserted. Please. The Oakland Chinatown is probably more authentic than the one in San Francisco.
