A guy on TV literally asking, “Why should we care about Myanmar??” I can’t believe a CNN news anchor just said that.

Not surprised here. There are schools of thought in evil, self serving circles that sometimes only surface as a sarcastic smirk one time and less subtle banter the next. The sad truth is that guy says the same thing about women and children from Darfur when he’s with his drinking buddies (including persons holding important political positions). Sometimes you can watch them validate each other’s sick rationalizations of possessed “philosophies” with a chuckle at fine dining establishments around th4 world.
